With heavy rainfall drenching Karnataka and Kerala, weather department predicts Coastal Maharashtra to experience downpour in the next 24 hours
Bengaluru/Mumbai, June 23: Monsoon have entered Coastal Karnataka and Kerala and heavy downpour have drenched the streets of states on Sunday. Streets in Hubli and other districts in Karnataka can be seen water-logged following heavy rainfall in the region, as it was speculated by the weather department on Saturday.
According to Skymet Weather, more rains are likely to take place in Karnataka and coastal Maharashtra in the next 24 hours. The places where the maximum amount of rainfall is expected in Karnataka and Kerala include Mangalore, Karwar, Honavar, Belgaum, Shimoga, Uttar Kanadda, Kochi, and Uddipi. Following this, moderate rains at scattered places in Maharashtra is expected in 24 hours to 48 hours tenure.
