Nagpur, November 25: Rashtriya Sawamsewak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat today pressed for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. While speaking at ‘hunkar sabha' in Nagpur, Bhagwat expressed dissatisfaction over the progress in constructing the temple. The RSS chief said, “The matter is in Court, the decision should be given early. It has also been proved that the Temple was there. Supreme Court is not giving priority to the case. Justice delayed is justice denied.”
He also demanded that the centre should pass a law so that the construction of the temple should be started at the earliest. Bhagwat’s push for the temple came on the day when Vishav Hindu Parishad conducted the ‘Dharma Sabha’, and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray rallied over 3,000 followers in Ayodhya. Earlier in the day, Ramji Das of the Nirmohi Akhara told the Dharm Sabha organised by the VHP in Ayodhya on November 25 that dates for the construction will be announced early next year during the Kumbh in Prayagraj. Meanwhile, Religious leader Ram Bhadracharya while speaking at the sabha claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would take a decision on the construction of the temple on December 11. The Shiv Sena chief during his two-day visit to Ayodhya reiterated his for the construction of a Ram temple. Thackeray on Sunday asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government not to play with the sentiments of the Hindus. He offered prayers at Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya earlier in the day. The Shiv Sena chief while addressing the media said that If the matter has to be resolved by the Supreme Court, then it should not be made poll agenda during election campaigning.
