New Delhi, June 10: In a display of continuity and strategic alliance-building, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third-term government has announced the retention of key portfolios by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Moreover, allies of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have been granted significant ministerial responsibilities. Ram Mohan Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has been appointed as the Civil Aviation Minister, while Lalan Singh of the Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) will oversee the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
