Kanpur, April 26: In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh, a woman allegedly died after her mobile phone, which she kept in her pocket, exploded while she was riding a scooter. The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Wednesday, April 24, in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. It is reported that the woman was wearing earphones and riding the scooter without a helmet at the time of the incident.
According to several news reports, the incident took place when the woman was speaking on the phone with her earbuds plugged in while riding the scooter. It is said that the woman lost control of the two-wheeler after the mobile phone exploded in her pocket while riding the scooter. After losing control, the woman's scooter collided with the divider. Locals who rushed to her aid after hearing the blast said that she was not wearing a helmet. She suffered serious injuries, especially to her head. Meanwhile, the police have launched a probe in connection with the incident.
