MNS Workers Thrash Migrant Worker From Bihar Accused of Sexual Abuse at Press Conference in Thane, Watch Video

Mumbai, October 8: Members of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Monday thrashed a migrant worker at a press conference in Thane. The man, who was assaulted by MNS worker, is an accused of sexually abusing a minor. Addressing the press conference, MNS Thane president Avinash Jadhav said the accused attempted rape on a Marathi girl.
The migrant worker is from Bihar and runs a tempo. Jadhav said the worker has so far tried to rape three minor girls. Soon after Jadhav finished his brief address, MNS workers started beating the accused whose identity is not known yet. Thane Police arrived at the press conference a few minutes later and took away the accused.
Jadhav said if the administration fails to take firm steps against such sexual predator, the MNS will act in its style. A video of a man trying to rape a minor has been going viral in Thane. Following the emergence of the video, the police were also looking for the accused. It is not clear whether the man caught by MNS workers and the one seen in the viral video are the same.

The incident comes a day after spade of attacks on migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in Gujarat following the rape of a 14-month-old girl in Sabarkantha district.
