Missing BSF Personnel's Body Recovered From Pakistan Side; BSF Thanks Pak Rangers, SDRF For Helping in Rescue Operation
Two days after a Border Security Force (BSF) sub-inspector went missing during patrolling duty along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir, his body was recovered has been recovered from Pakistan. Sub-inspector Paritosh Mandal’s body was recovered by Pakistan Rangers on Tuesday.
Jammu, October 1: Two days after a Border Security Force (BSF) sub-inspector went missing during patrolling duty along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir, his body was recovered has been recovered from Pakistan. Sub-inspector Paritosh Mandal’s body was recovered by Pakistan Rangers on Tuesday. According to reports, he had drowned while negotiating Nallah following an input. A joint operation was launched by the force and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) for rescuing Mandal. The BSF in a statement thanked SDRF, locals and Pakistan rangers for helping in the rescue operation. The BSF said, “BSF Jammu has conveyed deep gratitude to SDRF and Pakistan Rangers who came forward in all respect for rescue operation for three continuous days.”

The missing BSF official was deployed along the IB in Arnia sector of RS Pura town in Jammu district. He was missing since September 28 from Aik Nallah. Inspector General of BSF expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.
