On July 27 afternoon, the half naked man clad in a pair of trousers suddenly started creating a ruckus and pelted stones at the people. When locals tried to stop him, he turned more violent and started biting randomly. In no time, around 10 people were bleeding from deep gashes on their cheeks and arms. Somehow, the locals caught him and tied him up and pelted stones. Later, police came to rescue but at a heavy cost. The mentally challenged man bite three more policemen before being handcuffed, reported Times of India.
Not only this, at Howrah Hospital he attacked more police officials and nurses. Finally, he was moved to Pavlov Institute in Kolkata. The cops said that the man was identified as Lalit Chowdhury and a list of neuro drugs were found in his pocket.
