New Delhi, August 6: Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj of Sant Nirankari Mission passed away due to prolonged illness in Delhi on Sunday. She breathed her last at 5.15 pm at her residence, Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sant Nirankari Colony in Burari. Sixty-one-year-old Mata Savinder was head of the mission from May 2016 to July 2018. Later on, she handed over the mission charge to Sister Sudiksha.

The followers can pay their last respects in Ground No 8 till the night of August 7. To catch Antim Darshan of Mata Satvinder, devotees can also log on to live.nirankari.org. Mata Satvinder’s last rites will be conducted at 9 AM on August 8. She will be taken to Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi at around noon, and a memorial service will be conducted at Ground No 2 opposite Nirankari Sarovar at 4 PM.

Mata Satvinder had taken over as the chief of the mission after the death of Baba Hardev died in a road accident in May 2016 in Canada. On July 16, Sister Sudiksha was named as the spiritual head of the Sant Nirankari Mission. She is the youngest daughter of Nirankari Satguru Baba Hardev Singh. The Sant Nirankari Mission was set up by Buta Singh in 1929.

Last Month, Spiritual leader Dada Vaswani also passed away at the age of 99 years in Pune. He was the head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission. He was a cult figure and had massive fan following across the world, particularly among the Sindhis.
