New Delhi, August 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will address the nation on his monthly radio broadcast 'Mann Ki Baat' at 11 am. People of the nation can tune in to All India Radio, DD National, DD News and DD Bharti to hear the radio programme live. This is the Prime Minister's third radio programme since he was re-elected for a second term in May. The Prime Minister is currently on his tour to foreign nations. He had departed for France, UAE and Bahrain earlier this week and will be returning home on August 26.
In his first episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' programme, after the landslide victory in Lok Sabha elections 2019, Modi discussed various topics like the Emergency and water crisis. He had also urged people to inculcate a habit of reading books regularly. He had said that he felt "empty" without addressing countrymen on the last Sunday of every month. In his second episode, which was aired a week before the abrogation of Article 370, the Prime Minister had discussed Kashmir, saying that "those who spread hatred will never succeed in their nefarious plans". In February this year, the Prime Minister had spoken in the last episode of the radio programme and had expressed confidence of the BJP-led NDA's victory in the Lok Sabha elections and said that the programme will return after the polls.
