Etah, July 29: In a bizarre incident, a man in Uttar Pradesh bit a snake into pieces after the reptile bit him on Sunday. According to a tweet by ANI, the incident took place in Etah. The man was reported to be in an intoxicated condition. As soon as the incident was reported, the man was rushed to the nearby hospital. Dr NP Singh, Etah, was quoted by ANI saying that the condition ofthe man is serious and he has been referred to another hospital. This is not the first time such an unusual incident has been reported. In the last week, a 60-year-old man bit and killed a snake after the reptile bit him in Gujarat's Mahisagar district. The man, later died too. The incident happened in Ajanwa village in Santrampur tehsil, over 120 kilometres from Gujarat's Vadodara.

According to the Sarpanch of the village, the man, identified as Parvat Gala Baria grabbed the snake which retaliated by biting him on the hands and face. However, Parvat bit back and killed the snake too. The incident took place when Parvat was standing near a spot where maize was being loaded from a field onto a truck. The snake slithered out and while others ran away, Baria continued to stand claiming he had caught snakes earlier," the village head said.
