Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, September 9: In a tragic and shocking incident in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a 20-year-old youth studying in Maharashtra's Pune and his accomplice were arrested for the kidnapping and murder of a 14-year-old boy identified as Parmeshwar Bobde, who happened to be the younger brother of their friend. The motive behind this heinous crime was a dispute over a hand loan of Rs 35,000.
According to the Times of India report, the accused, identified as Balaji Chavan and Naresh Jadhav, both hailing from Chorwad in Parbhani district, allegedly resorted to this extreme act after their attempts to recover the borrowed money failed. Parmeshwar Bobde was kidnapped from Vasmat Road in Parbhani around 10 am on Thursday, September 7. The case took a swift turn as investigators discovered messages on the victim's elder brother's phone demanding the repayment of the debt. During questioning, both Balaji and Naresh confessed to the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Parmeshwar. It was revealed that Parmeshwar's elder brother had borrowed Rs 35,000 from Balaji approximately 18 months ago, with a promise to repay the loan within a couple of months. However, as time passed, he failed to fulfil his commitment and ceased communication with Balaji, leading him to resort to such extreme measures. In a similar incident in Pune, three individuals have been arrested, and a minor detained in connection with the abduction and murder of a 16-year-old boy. The victim, Anush Amol Payal, allegedly provided information about a criminal to a rival gang, triggering this tragic event. The arrested suspects have been identified as Mahadev Govind Gajakosh, Pranay Sunil Pawar, and Saurabh Manik Tayade, while several others involved in the crime remain at large.
Anush Payal was reported missing by his family after he failed to return home following a practice session in Kondhwa. A subsequent investigation revealed that he had been brutally beaten and killed before his body was disposed of near Bharmhan hills in Saswad. Authorities are actively pursuing the remaining fugitive suspects in this disturbing case.
