Nagpur, April 3: In a horrific incident, a teacher in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur area hanged his two daughters and sent their picture on messaging app- WhatsApp to his estranged wife. According to reports, the man, a college teacher hanged his minor daughters, and after sending their photos, ended his life. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the tragic incident took place around 1 am at the man’s residence in Ballarpur, about 170 kms from Nagpur on Tuesday. Police official Sunil Kamble was quoted in the report saying that accused has been identified as a 40-year-old ITI teacher Rishikant C. According to reports, the brother of the deceased registered a complaint over the incident. The complaint lodged by Gopal C. Kudupalli, Rishikant stated that his brother was very upset about his wife Pragati’s alleged affair with a local private driver. The complaint further revealed that Rishikant’s wife suddenly eloped with Khan leaving behind her husband and their two daughters. The duo had two minor daughters- the younger was one 18-month-old Kartiki while the elder one was, six-year-old Narayani. Depressed and hurt by all this, Rishikant hanged both his daughters, clicking their photos and after sending them to his wife, committed suicide at his home in Ballarpur. Maharashtra Shocker: Aurangabad Youth Kills Twin Brother Over Rs 40!

Similar incidences have been reported from across the nation. In December 2018, a 30-year-old married woman, along with her lover, allegedly killed her husband by beheading his head with a sharp knife. The incident crime took place in Greater Noida. The woman and her lover were arrested after the decomposed body of the deceased was recovered after almost 10 days.
