Aurangabad, February 27: In another shocking case of killing over trivial reason, a 14-year old boy from Aurangabad in Maharashtra took the life of his twin brother over Rs 40. The twins were born just an hour apart and a minor sum of Rs 40 has proved to be fatal. The two got into an argument over the money issue and the younger brother was angry at the way he was treated. According to reports by ANI, the younger brother admitted to committing the crime. The incident took place when the elder brother was sleeping in the house after having lunch. The two brothers would often quarrel and the younger one was reportedly unhappy with the way he was treated by his elder twin. He was also not treated too well by their peers. This fuelled, even more, fights between them. The recent fight over the money triggered the younger one to take such a harsh step.
As informed by the police officials, the younger one said he felt humiliated among all their peers. Meanwhile, his elder twin was given more respect and was also popular in the group. This had upset him and the money argument eventually ended up in him taking his brother's life. The deceased's body has been sent for a post mortem and further probe is underway.
