Mumbai, October 10: In a tragic incident, a girl identified as Neha Sheikh, died after falling from her two-wheeler allegedly due to a pothole and then came under a speeding truck on Wada Bhiwandi road near Kudus in Palghar on Wednesday. After the accident, locals have forced the toll booth on this road to shut down until the roads are pothole-free.
The unfortunate accident took place when Neha who was a doctor by profession was returning home in her two-wheeler. It hit a pothole and she fell on the road and was crushed to death by a speeding truck from behind. According to local reports, she was about to get married in the coming month and the news of her sudden death has caused shock in her family. Locals have said that they have complained several times to the concerned authorities but no action has been taken till now.
Recently another young life was lost in a road accident in Chennai when a banner fell on Subashree when she was riding her two-wheeler. A tanker came from behind and injured Subhasree on her head, and according to eyewitness, she was also wearing a helmet when the accident took place.
