Mumbai, August 19: According to the latest update in the horrific road accident that took place on Sunday night, atleast 15 people have been confirmed dead and 35 people were left injured after a bus collided with a canter truck near Nimgul village in Dhule. Locals rushed to the spot on hearing about the accident and pulled some of the passengers from the bus. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. It is still not clear, how the accident happened. However, from the pictures shared by ANI, it shows that the bus was battered from the front and may have hit the truck head-on. The accident took place near Nimgul village in Dhule.

The bodies of the deceased were sent for post-mortem. Earlier this month, at least 50 passengers, most of them, students of colleges, of a state transport bus were injured when it crashed into the bushes after hitting a divider on Pivli-Wada route near Jambulpada village in Palghar district of Maharashtra.
The condition of at least two students was serious. The incident occurred around 7 am when the driver of the bus lost his control over the wheel while trying to save a girl who was crossing the road.
