Maharashtra: Rickshaw Driver Kidnapped, Beaten Up in Thane

Thane, July 21: Six people have been booked in Thane for allegedly kidnapping and beating up a rickshaw driver, police said Sunday. They took him to Shelar Naka and assaulted him," sub-inspector Mohan Kalamkar of Dombivali police station said. He said the dispute seemed to have started over parking of rickshaws. A kidnapping and assault case has been registered but no arrests have been made so far, Kalamkar added.
