A recent incident in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon has come to light where a mob pelted stones at the Bhusaval Nandurbar passenger train. The Government Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case for endangering passenger safety against unidentified individuals following the video’s spread. Indian Railways stated that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in-charge at Amalner filed a case under Railway Act 154 against unknown persons. The Amalner GRP has been notified for further legal proceedings. Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Vineet Abhishek, noted that a large crowd travelled from Bhusawal to Bhortek for a religious event, with RPF personnel present on the train.
