Madhya Pradesh: Live Bomb Collected From Army Range Exploded in Shivpuri, Three Killed
Three people died in an explosion at a house in Khaniadhana area of Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri. One of the deceased had reportedly gone to the Army firing range in Jhansi to search for explosives material but returned with live bombs which exploded at the house.
Shivpuri, July 1: In a tragic incident, three people died in an explosion at their house in Khaniadhana area of Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri. One of the deceased had reportedly gone to the Army firing range in Jhansi to search for remains of exploded bombs, but mistakenly returned with live bombs which exploded at the house. After getting the information, the police immediately reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
According to reports, Shyam Jatav went to the Army firing range to collect bomb remains to take out bronze material from them. While taking out the bronze from the bombs, the explosion took place which claimed three lives. In a similar incident last year, three children, aged 2-10 years, were killed when a live bomb went off accidentally near an Army firing range in Arunachal Pradesh's Anjaw district. According to reports, one of the children brought the live bomb thinking it be a toy from the army firing range.
