Bhopal, September 1: On Thursday afternoon, it is claimed that a middle-aged man crossing the BRTS corridor was struck by a speeding ambulance van travelling along Hoshangabad Road in Misrod, Madhya Pradesh. The negligent ambulance driver dragged the man more than 50 metres before stopping the vehicle.  The ambulance was halted as soon as the onlookers saw the injured guy trapped beneath it, and they extracted him. They beat the ambulance driver and damaged the vehicle. The motorist was saved from the furious residents by Misrod police, who also took him into custody.

According to SHO Misrod RB Sharma, police learned about a man being struck by a speeding ambulance in the BRTS corridor on Hoshangabad Road in front of Surendra Landmark at approximately 3.30 p.m. When the cops arrived, an ambulance from a Bag Sewania private hospital was present. The injured man was taken by ambulance by the police to AIIMS hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Nothing that might have been used to identify him was discovered in his possession. The deceased appeared to be in his or her mid-50s. He appeared to be a worker. He added that it was discovered that the ambulance was travelling from Bag Sewania to Misrod. The dead was struck by the ambulance as he crossed the street between Chinar Colony and Vrindavan Dhaba. He got pinned beneath the ambulance, according to witnesses who called the police, but the driver dragged him instead of stopping the van.
