Bhopal, July 9: In another incident of heinous crime against women getting reported from Madhya Pradesh, a 40-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by 4 men in forest area of Betul district's Sonaghati on Saturday. According to news agency ANI, a case has been registered under sections 376 (Punishment for rape) & 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Atrocities Act.
The deplorable incident was shared by news agency ANI, which mentioned that 4 people were involved in the crime against the 40-year-old woman:

Earlier, there was news that a 15-year-old girl allegedly has been gang-raped in Bijawar town of Madhya Pradesh’s Chattarpur district on July 8. The case has been registered against the accused who are currently absconding. The investigation is underway to arrest the accused said media reports.
An extremely shameful fact related to the case is that this is the sixth rape incident reported from the state of Madhya Pradesh within a fortnight. On June 26, an eight-year-old girl was gang-raped by two men in Mandsaur district which caused huge outrage and raised questions about the safety of girl child in public places.
