Bhopal, August 16: Due to heavy rains, followed by floods in Madhya Pradesh, several human lives and properties have been washed away in the last few days. In the latest video shared by ANI, temporary shops can be seen being washed away after boundary wall behind the shop collapses due to an increase in water level in a canal in Neemuch. Earlier in the day, there was another video of a man being washed away in the floods, while he was crossing a river in Rajgarh. The body has been recovered, as confirmed by police.

In another incident that took place two days back, a mother-daughter duo died in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur as they were washed away in a flooded nullah while clicking selfies.
The deceased stepped out of their house to view a flooded nullah. While attempting to click selfies, the culverts they were standing on collapsed. Both of them ended up falling into the nullah and their bodies were swiftly washed away. Due to the increasing water-level, floodwaters have entered the famous Pashupatinath Temple in Mandsaur. Several parts of Mandsaur district are flooded and people are being evacuated and taken to shelter homes.
