Bhopal, August 12: In a shocking incident, four police personnel in Madhya Pradesh were suspended for thrashing about five people following a tiff between them. According to a tweet by ANI, the incident took place in Nanpur police station limits of Alirajpur district after an altercation between them. According to reports, families of the victims allege that the cops were intoxicated. They also added saying that the policemen forced the 5 to consume urine too. "A departmental probe is being initiated. Four police personnel, including Nanpur police station incharge, have been suspended," Superintendent of Police (SP) Vipul Srivastava said.

According to ANI, the relatives informed that an argument ensued between the police personnel and five persons while they were returning from attending Adivasi Diwas at Nanpur Phata Dam. After the tiff, the men were allegedly brought to the police station and thrashed. Following this, people gathered outside the Nanpur police station to protest against the same.
