Niwari, October 28: In an accident which could have turned tragic, a car carrying five people lost its balance and had a narrow escape after their vehicle fell off from an unsecured bridge into a river on Monday, October 28. The incident took place in Orchha town of Madhya Pradesh's Niwari district. According to the CCTV (closed-circuit television), the car and an autorickshaw both coming from opposite directions collided in an unsecured bridge. The car, in an attempt to avoid the collision, fell off from the bridge. The clips show that auto-rickshaw was carrying more than three passengers and some people were also standing behind the vehicle.

Earlier this month, seven people were killed and 36 people were injured after a bus fell off from a flyover in Madhya Pradesh's Raisen. The vehicle was reportedly over-speeding and the driver had lost its control while passing over the bridge. The bus, which originated from Indore, was travelling to Chhattarpur.
