Madhya Pradesh, October 3: In a tragic incident, six people were killed and 19 got injured after a bus fell into a river in Raisen on Wednesday night. According to an ANI tweet, the injured are being treated at a local hospital. The number of casualties in the incident is expected to rise.
The incident reportedly took place at 1:30 am, while the bus was travelling from Raisen to Chhatarpur. Police had reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. The bus submerged into the water as soon as it fell into the canal. The rescue team was in action to rescue the people affected in the accident.

Last year, in a fatal road accident in Madhya Pradesh, seven children and the driver of their school bus was killed after colliding with a van in Satna district. After the accident was reported, the police immediately arrived on the spot and rushed the victims to the nearest hospital.
