Bhopal, July 3: A four-year-old girl who was raped in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district on Sunday will be airlifted to Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for medical treatment. According to a recent tweet by ANI, the victim was admitted to a hospital in Satna in a critical condition. The Police has, however,  arrested the accused.

The minor was allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man who was known to her family. Details by Police inform that the minor was found in a bad shape in Parasmania area of Satna district. Police informed that the man abandoned the kid at the spot after committing raping her in Satna district.

The incident came to light after the victim's parents, along with the villagers, started searching for the child. After hours of search, they found the minor's body lying in a bad condition. She was admitted in a nearby hospital.   According to an IANS report, the accused, Mahendra Singh, 23, had abducted the child when she was sleeping in the courtyard of her house.

The report further informs that after the accused felt that the minor had died, he dumped her in a secluded place close to Unchehara Police Station of Satna district.  Meanwhile, an investigation into the brutal incident is underway, Satna Superintendent of Police Rajesh Hingankar said.

The brutal incident comes days after the incident of brutal gang-rape of a seven-year-old girl in Mandsaur of the state on June 26. The Police, has, however, arrested two accused in the case.
