Guna, Nov 3: Three persons were killed and three others injured when their car overturned after collided with a divider on a highway in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district on Wednesday, police said.

The accident took place near Barkheda village on Gwalior-Betul National Highway around 4.30 am, Binaganj police station in-charge Deepak Bhadoriya said.

Constable Devendra Dubey (26), Alka Sharma (34) and her three-year-old daughter Priyanshi were killed, while constable Niraj Sharma, his son and Dubey's wife were injured and admitted to Guna district hospital, he said.

The constables were posted in Shajapur district, the official said, adding that a post-mortem is being conducted.
