Ludhiana, October 11: A shocking incident has come to light from Ludhiana in Punjab where a minor girl was blackmailed by her friend and his accomplices for jewellery and cash. The accused had been blackmailing the girl after filming her nude while she was bathing. The incident came to light after mother found cash and valuables missing from the house on Monday, October 9.

The girl told her mother that the accused had been blackmailing her using the nude video and extorting money from her. Cops said that one of the accused was the victim's friend and has managed to film her while she was bathing two years ago. The accused teamed up with his friend and threatened the girl that they would circulate the video online if she did not give them cash and valuables. The accused asked her to send the jewellery through her friend. The victim would hand over the jewellery to her friend, who would give it to the others, police said.

A complaint has been registered against five accused including another girl who was the victim’s friend and her parents. A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
