The student added that no other teacher in the school treated the student with such cruelty. She was the only teacher who would resort to physical punishment. On one occasion, when the student inadvertently wrote 'in' instead of 'is,' she subjected him to a brutal beating. The student expressed hope that she would be permanently barred from teaching in any other educational institution so no other child would have to endure the trauma he experienced.
When the student refused to attend school, his father reported the situation to the principal. Initially sceptical, the principal reviewed the CCTV footage and found evidence supporting the student's claims. The teacher was permanently terminated from the school, confirmed the Thakurganj SHO.
