Lucknow, June 27: In a shocking case reported in the Uttar pradesh capital, a 14-year-old boy was thrashed and forced to "drink acid" by three miscreants. The minor was subjected to such inhumane assault after he had refused to bring cannabis for them, as per the preliminary findings of the probe done by Lucknow police so far.

The miscreants had forced the minor to drink acid and brutally beating him down. Fortunately, the acid did not go down the victim's food pipe which could had led to disastrous consequences.

The three accused have been identified by the police and one among them have been arrested. A search operation has been launched to nab the two other youths.

"Acid didn't go down his food pipe but was only in the mouth. We arrested the main accused. Teams formed to look for the other," a police official was reported as saying.
