Mumbai, July 1: In a significant development, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been slashed by INR 30-31 per cylinder across various metro cities in India. However, there is no revision in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. This reduction in commercial cylinder rates aims to provide relief to businesses and industries reliant on LPG for their operations. Consumers in metro areas such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai can now avail themselves of the updated, reduced rates, effective immediately.

This reduction brings relief, particularly to businesses such as restaurants and dhabas, where LPG cylinders are essential for daily operations. Despite this adjustment for commercial cylinders, there has been no change in the prices of domestic 14.2 kg cylinders, which remain stable at their current rates. For instance, in Delhi, the price of a commercial 19 kg cylinder has decreased by Rs 30 to Rs 1646, down from Rs 1676 in June. Similarly, in Kolkata and Mumbai, commercial cylinder prices have been reduced by Rs 31 to Rs 1756 and Rs 1598 respectively. LPG Gas Cylinder Price Cut: In Respite for People Amid Lok Sabha Polls, Prices of Commercial LPG Cylinders Slashed by Rs 19.
