Mumbai, July 25: On Wednesday, July 24, the West Bengal assembly passed a resolution to scrap the NEET exam. The ruling Trinamool Congress government also demanded the restoration of the previous system of individual state governments conducting such examinations. Thus, West Bengal became the second state after Tamil Nadu to pass a motion demanding the scrapping of NEET.
