Padma Shri Awardee Kamala Pujari passed away at 74 today, July 20.  A native of Patraput village in Jeypore block, Odisha, Pujari received the Padma Shri award in 2019 for her contribution to the field of agriculture in organic farming.

Over 100 people have died as students across Bangladesh have clashed with security forces and pro-government activists over the reintroduction of reservation in government jobs.


Mumbai, July 20: Microsoft users, including banks and airlines, reported widespread outages on Friday, July 19. The outages were reported a few hours after the technology company said they were fixing an issue affecting access to Microsoft 365 apps and other services. In India, airlines such as IndiGo, Akasa Air, and SpiceJet experienced significant disruptions due to the Microsoft outage that was linked to broader cyber issues involving CrowdStrike.

Later in the day, the Centre issued an advisory on the outage of Microsoft Windows owing to CrowdStrike agent "Falcon Sensor" update. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday said that it had filed an FIR against probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar.
