Mumbai, July 20: Microsoft users, including banks and airlines, reported widespread outages on Friday, July 19. The outages were reported a few hours after the technology company said they were fixing an issue affecting access to Microsoft 365 apps and other services. In India, airlines such as IndiGo, Akasa Air, and SpiceJet experienced significant disruptions due to the Microsoft outage that was linked to broader cyber issues involving CrowdStrike.
Later in the day, the Centre issued an advisory on the outage of Microsoft Windows owing to CrowdStrike agent "Falcon Sensor" update.
