Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the District Magistrates of all the concerned districts to remain on high alert regarding the forecast of heavy to very heavy rainfall in nine districts of the state by the Meteorological Department tomorrow on July 7.

The exam was scheduled to take place on June 22 but was postponed just 12 hours before the examination. The Central government on Friday told the Supreme Court that it would not be rational to scrap the entire NEET UG 2024 examination in the absence of any proof of any large-scale breach of confidentiality. The Centre also said that scrapping the NEET-UG exam entirely would "seriously jeopardise" lakhs of honest candidates who attempted the exam held on May 5.
