New Delhi, June 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the seven-year journey of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on social media platform 'X', quoting a newspaper report. He emphasized that GST has improved the lives of 140 crore Indians by making household goods cheaper.

The PM highlighted that GST has reduced taxes on various household items such as flour, curd, and detergent, resulting in significant savings for the poor and common man.
