The Delhi government issued an advisory today, May 1, urging schools to check their official emails and inform the authorities regarding any impending threat. The development comes after several schools in the Delhi-NCR region received "hoax" bomb threats.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday, May 1, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has saved the people of the country from starvation and epidemic. He also said that Congress wanted to divide the country into pieces and was making false claims about vaccination and spreading rumours. "The people of the country were saved from the epidemic by providing free vaccination," Thakur added.

Modi today participated in campaigns at Zaheerabad in support of party candidate B.B. Patil and Medak candidate M. Raghunandan Rao at the Allahdurg mosque in IV crossroads. Shah will be arriving on May 1 to campaign in support of party candidate K. Madhavi Latha and will return on May 5 to campaign for Nizamabad party candidate D. Arvind, Malakajgiri candidate Eatala Rajender and Secunderabad candidate as well as Telangana State chief G. Kishan Reddy.
President Droupadi Mumru will visit Ayodhya to pay obeisance at the Ram temple today. It will be her first visit to the newly built temple, the consecration ceremony for which was held on January 22.
