The Election Commission of India (ECI) today expressed serious displeasure over non-compliance by the Maharashtra government with regard to the transfer of officials ahead of the upcoming Assembly election. Mumbai, September 27: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said that he was not guilty and would not resign from his post amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the MUDA land case. Siddaramaiah's remarks came after BJP and JD(S) demanded that he should step down in view of the Special Court's order in the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam case. "I have not committed any mistake and there is no necessity as such that I should resign," Siddaramaiah said.
