Mumbai, September 26:Â In the latest development in the Akshay Shinde encounter, the Bombay High Court raised serious concerns over the custodial death of the Badlapur sexual assault case accused. On Wednesday, September 25, the high court questioned the police's claim that the incident was an "encounter." The court also noted potential foul play and directed authorities to preserve CCTV footage from the time Shinde was removed from jail until his death at Shivaji Hospital. According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), a voter turnout of 54.11 per cent was recorded till 7 pm in the second phase of polling in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Budgam recorded 58.97 per cent, Ganderbal 58.81 per cent, Poonch 71.59 per cent, Rajouri 68.22 per cent, Reasi 71.81 per cent and Srinagar 27.37 per cent till 7 PM, as per the data shared by the ECI.
