US short-seller Hindenburg Research in a fresh report citing whistleblower's documents alleged that market regulator SEBI's chairperson Madhabi Buch and her husband had stakes in obscure offshore funds used in the Adani money siphoning scandal. "A declaration of funds, signed by a principal at IIFL states that the source of the investment is 'salary' and the couple's net worth is estimated at USD 10 million," Hindenburg said.

Two people were injured in Dichaon area of Delhi after wall of a MCD school fell on them alongwith an uprooted tree due to heavy rains. The incident happened on Friday. "Due to heavy rain, an old and big Neem tree got uprooted and fell on the MCD school wall and this uprooted tree along with school wall fell on the riders of two motorcycles, who were under the tree to save themselves from rain," a police official said.

Mumbai, August 10: On Friday, the Supreme Court granted bail to AAP leader Manish Sisodia in corruption and money laundering cases linked to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam. The Supreme Court bench of justices B R Gavai and K V Viswanathan said that Sisodia has been in custody for 17 months and trial has not yet commenced, depriving him of the right to speedy trial. Reacting to Sisodia's bail news, AAP called the verdict as a "victory of truth" and also expressed hope that other jailed leaders of the party "will also get justice".
