Mumbai, August 4: On Saturday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the state government will construct 100 houses for victims of the landslide-hit Wayanad in Kerala. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Siddaramaiah said Karnataka stands in solidarity with Kerala and will construct 100 houses for the victims. "Together, we will rebuild and restore hope," he said. Amid the ongoing rescue operation in Wayanad, the Ministry of Finance directed public sector insurance companies, including LIC to extend all possible support to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy by expeditiously settling all insurance claims.
