External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday hit out at Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, accusing Islamabad of sheltering and harbouring terrorists. In her speech, Sushma Swaraj said Pakistan not only spreads terrorism, but also refuses to acknowledge its deeds.

The Uttar Pradesh government has accepted all the demands of deceased Apple employee Vivek Tiwari’s family. Authorities have sanctioned the demands in writing. Lucknow District Magistrate (DM) Kaushalraj Sharma confirmed that the CBI inquiry would be initiated if wanted by the victim’s family. Tiwari’s wife, Kalpana has been given a job along with the compensation of Rs 25 lakh.

The BCCI announced the 14-member squad for the two-match test series against West Indies.
