Jammu and Kashmir senior journalist Aarti Tikoo Singh raises Shujaat Bukhari's murder issue at US House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on 'Human Rights in South Asia' in Washington DC.

She said, "On 14 June 2018 Shujaat Bukhari was shot dead by LeT in Srinagar, terror group banned by US that perpetrated Mumbai terror attacks."

Adding more, she said, "Why did they kill him? Because Shujaat wanted Pakistan to end violence & human rights abuse in Kashmir, they killed him because he wanted peace."
