The total gross GST (Goods and Services Tax) revenue collected in September, 2019 is Rs 91,916 crore of which CGST is Rs 16,630 crore, SGST is Rs.22,598 crore, IGST is Rs 45,069 crore (including Rs 22,097 crore collected on imports) & Cess is Rs 7,620 crore

And the total number of GSTR 3B Returns filed for August up to 30 September, 2019 is Rs 75.94 lakhs. Total revenue earned by Central Govt & State Govts after regular settlement in the month of September, 2019 is Rs 37,761 crore for CGST and Rs 37,719 crore for the SGST.

A Hong Kong police officer shot a protester in the chest on Tuesday after he and his unit were attacked by demonstrators during sustained clashes in the city, a police source said.

"An officer discharged his firearm after coming under attack and a protester was struck in the chest in Tsuen Wan district today," the source said, requesting anonymity.

The wounded protester received initial first aid from officers before paramedics arrived and took him to hospital, the source added.

The price of LPG cylinders rose for the second consecutive month today.  Following a price hike of Rs 15 per cylinder, a 14 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder now costs Rs 605 in Delhi, Rs 630 in Kolkata, Rs 574.50 in Mumbai and Rs 620 in Chennai. New pricing of LPG cylinders will be effective from today.
