Meanwhile, the agrarian protests in Maharashtra has reached the state capital Mumbai, where 30,000 farmers have marched from Thane under the aegis of Lok Sangharsh Morcha. The protesters are set to stage a march today from Somaiya Ground in Sion to the Azad Maidan. The Mumbai Police has issued traffic guidelines for commuters in the city.

On the political front, the poll battle has escalated in Madhya Pradesh -- which goes to polls on November 28. The BJP has launched a scathing attack on the Congress, after a video surfaced showing Kamal Nath asking Muslim cadres of the party to ensure 90 per cent voting from the community.

Among major global news, US President Donald Trump was lambasted by Democratic leader Tulsi Gabbard for his soft approach on Saudi Arabia. In an abusive tweet, Gabbard said, "Hey @realdonaldtrump: being Saudi Arabia’s b**** is not “America First,” he said.
