New Delhi, May 30: The countdown has begun for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony to kick off at 7 pm in Rashtrapati Bhawan today. All preparations are in place as PMO, Rashtrapati Bhawan officials and BJP workers are busy in giving the final touch to make the ceremony rememberable and historic. Over 8,000 invitations to prominent dignitaries have been sent and all security arrangements are complete.

The Maldives Parliament has unanimously passed a resolution to invite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the House during his expected visit to the atoll nation on June 7-8. "Maldives Parliament has unanimously passed a resolution to invite PM @narendramodi to address a sitting of the House during his upcoming visit to the Maldives," Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid tweeted on Wednesday.

The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, on Wednesday said the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K. Sivan inaugurated, remotely from Bengaluru, a Space Technology Incubation Centre (S-TIC) at the institute. In a statement the NITT said, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) had also been signed with the ISRO.
