Reports have claimed that the Prime Minister's swearing-in ceremony would be held on May 30. Modi is likely to invite foreign dignitaries for his oath-taking ceremony, as seen in 2014 when leaders from across the SAARC nations, including then Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif were invited.
In other major news, 19 students of a coaching centre in Gujarat's Surat were killed after a huge fire broke out. The government has announced Rs 4 crore ex-gratia to the deceased's kin.
