New Delhi, March 3: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that Tripura is country's number one gas producing point and every poor household in the state will have LPG connection in 2019. Pradhan said that ONGC Tripura has recorded its highest ever production at 4.96 MMSCMD (Million Metric Standard Cubic Meter Per Day) on Saturday. "Not only 5 MMSCMD but we can produce 10 MMCMD from here for the upcoming 15-20 years," said Dharmendra Pradhan. "We will try that in 2019 itself none of the poor households in Tripura is without an LPG connection," Pradhan was quoted by ANI.
In Gujarat, Rajkot Mayor Binaben Acharya flagged off a special sleeper AC coach for people traveling from Rajkot to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 'Statue of Unity' at Narmada bank on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Russian Defence Minister called up Nirmala Sitharaman to express condolences over Pulwama attack and strengthen military cooperation. According to a report by ANI, he also expressed his condolences over the Pulwama terror attack in Kashmir.
"Russian Defence Minister General Sergei Shoygu called Smt @nsitharaman. Over the telecon, he expressed condolences for the Pulwama attack and emphasized on the determination to strengthen Indo-Russian military cooperation (sic)," the defence minister's official Twitter handle posted.
