Srinagar, March 29: Security forces gunned down two terrorists in an encounter on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district. Four personnel of the Indian Army also sustained injuries in the gunfight. At least three militants were believed to be trapped inside the residential building in Sustu village in Budgam district. Four militants were killed on Thursday in two gunfights with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian and Kupwara districts.
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has adopted a resolution that calls upon countries to prevent and counter the financing of terrorism, especially in its new forms. On the UN adopting resolution to counter terrorist financing, India's Permanent Representative Syed Akbaruddin said New Delhi welcomes recognition in the resolution of the essential role of financial action task force. "Global community is impatient for action. Going forward UN collectively needs to do more and to do it much more effectively.
