New Delhi, March 28: Three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district in the early hours of Thursday. The gunfight broke out in Kellar area after a joint team of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Army and the Jammu and Kashmir police was attacked by terrorists during a search operation in the area. This is the second encounter in the district in less than a week.
A day after India's anti-satellite missile A-SAT successfully targeted a live satellite on a low earth orbit, the United States said the two countries will "continue to pursue shared interests in space and scientific and technical cooperation including collaboration on security in space". "The issue of space debris is an important concern for the United States government. An Indian national was shot dead by unidentified people in Western Nepal on Wednesday. The victim was identified as Feroz Khan from Beliya. He had been working as a mechanic at the Auto Village for a decade. Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office Butwal told news agency ANI: "He was shot in head and chest at around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. We have started a probe in the incident."
