An FIR was registered against unidentified persons for allegedly threatening to kill Amravati MP Navneet Rana by sending an audio message on her WhatsApp number. Police officials said that the sender of the message also used objectionable words against the Independent MP.

Iris is the first humanoid robot instructor in the state, if not the entire nation, and was created in partnership with Makerlabs Edutech. The Kaduvayil Thangal Charitable Trust opened KTCT Higher Secondary School, where this idea originated.
