In another major news, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent out a stern diplomatic message to Pakistan while addressing the Maldives Parliament on Saturday. The Indian PM said the entire Asian region must take a stand against nations which are perpetrating cross-border terrorism and allowing their soil to be used for extremist activities.
Modi's veiled message to Islamabad comes in the backdrop of a fresh letter written by Pakistan PM Imran Khan to his Indian counterpart, seeking resumption of dialogue between the two nations to resolve all pending issues, including Kashmir.
On the sporting front, England crushed Bangladesh by 106 runs and New Zealand sealed a 7-wicket victory against Afghanistan on Saturday. For today, the big match - India vs Australia - is scheduled for 3:00 pm (IST).
